You know how people feel better just telling somebody about what troubles them? That's what we are going to do here. So I'll go first, and then you chip in with something personal that's really a problem. You don't need to offer anybody any solutions; just pour your heart out hoping to feel better.

I've got ADHD, which gives me incredible difficulties with schoolwork. I'll have to retake a term in my university English studies, except I don't think that'll help. Because I just don't think I'm capable of doing a good job in studies, and to be frank I'm feelin really useless right now and completely fed up with always failing.

What troubles you, friend?

I'm catoptrophobic, cynical, sociopathic and generally weird.

And the creepy thing is: I don't really mind.

I've got the exact same condition, and trust me, I know how tough being a college kid with ADHD can be. It's also pretty hard to feel optimistic under those circumstances, so rather than that "don't give up" bllsh*t, here's my advice to you: don't be afraid to let others help you. I find that it's pretty much impossible to study/write when I'm alone and without my medication, but among other people, I'm simply forced to think.

And don't feel too useless. I know at least three people who have to retake ENGLISH next semester, and none of them have ADD.

I fell, sprained my ankle, tore my Achilles tendon, and now am on crutches for a month and a half.
Not only that, but I have to walk around a large college campus where I received 10 inches of snow.

I cannot get a job and they won't give me benefits cause of a bit off money I had go into my account 6 months ago. I did my college course, but I want to go back, but because I'm 18 I'll have to pay and won't receive a grant and it's spiraling out of control, so much so that I need them to take note that I have nothing and need help, whereas any Tom, Dick or Abdullah can come here and get it the second they walk into the door because they're afraid of "upsetting their human rights" when my parents go to work for a pittance, and would probably get more money on benefits and can hardly afford food and the astronomical heating bills we've now got, so in short if I don't get a job or some form of incoming pay, we might lose the house.

So yeah, things aren't really looking all that magical for me right now.

I've got a crush on my friend, and even though I know it will never happen I still want to be with her.

Yes, I'm sixteen and a lonely geek.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and i agree, it sucks.

I'm depressed over the fact that university is one big rip-off. Tuition fees are £3000 a year, costing me £9000 over a three year course+ accomidation fees, which are bloody expensive, so i'm going to be in god-knows how much debt when i graduate- and i am not even guaranteed a job- so its hardly value for money. Not only that, but if your on an arts course (I'm doing history) your given a load of books and told to read it all yourself. If the university expects me to teach myself, why on earth am i paying them? It's not value for money at all, and just one big rip-off.

Haha! There is nothing worse than that. It's like a guaranteed several weeks of looking like a tramp. Oh well, it's worth it.

Tonights problems? alright.

10:30 pm: Cut my finger open from picking up coke cans.

10:35 pm: Pratting about with scissors, punctured my hand. BLOOD EVERYWHERE.

10:38 pm: Trod on a piece of lego with bare feet, while rushing to bathroom to get rid of blood. ouch.

10:44 pm: Swore about the pain, got a slap. Sore face.

The list continues for a while. Yeah, im having a bad day.
