Griff takes an Almanac back to Biff, who then becomes the richest man alive.

Now, let's say you wanted the world to go your way. The Time Chamber only allows you to appear as a hologram, so you can't interact with anyone, but you can leave something behind for them.

The obvious one, which I'll get out of the way, is leaving a bomb for Hitler, but there's still the chance it could be taken away.

What I'm looking for is things like giving Linux to Bill Gates at the beginning of Microsoft. Wouldn't that be cool?

Anywya, I would leave a book of stock tips going all the way to now (2008, or whenever it is I send this thing back), along with a note in the book, warning myself not to abuse it (I've never wanted a lot of money, just enough to get by).

Here's how I see it... If you go back in time and leave an object/influence an event, it would do very little to influence the state you are in, because you have already observed the past and all you have observed have observed another event, and those who they've observed have the events they've observed and so on making it so that the past is therefore unalterable.

But maybe you put a large store of wine underneath where your house will be, and after aging it achieves a very high vintage and could be sold at a very high price. Then you could possibly get rich off of time travel.

I would go back and tell Bill Gates to delay releasing the Xbox 360 until it's been tested properly because I have seen the future, and it's a future where Sony only have mediocre games out, so Microsoft can afford to push back the release date abit so that the hardware as well as the games are top notch, Sony will have lost before they set their foot out the door.
Oh and I would want alot of money from him for giving him that tip

Iunno, time travel just doesn't suit me. If I had to, I'd most likely leave my past self a copy of Half Life or something... get myself into PC gaming a lot earlier.

WTF?!?! That octopus lives under the fuckin SEA and he's getting more action than me! I have no more excuses... not if even octopus are gettin some....

Anyways, I'm pretty cool with the way things are now, so I wouldn't really change anything. Nothing "world changing" anyways, I don't think it'd be a good idea to mess around with that kind of stuff.

If anything, I'd just leave myself a little book of tips. You know "Don't buy this, be wary of that, invest in this, stay away from that crazy *****", you know, useful stuff.

I'd go back in time and give myself a copy of Harry Potter and explain that for some weird reason people will get really into the idea of Wizard Boarding School. I'd give an outline of the series and some suggestions on how to improve it. Just flat out say that Dumbledore is gay, Voldemort is Harry's Dad, etc.
