Oh wow, no kidding. Both MDK games were fantastic and I'd honestly forgotten that Bioware did the second one.

Fantastic news! Just yesterday, I was thinking about reinstalling MDK2 and play it for the umpteenth time, but now I think I'll wait for the HD version instead.

I only wish they would give the first game the same treatment...

I hated that game it was so crap... but thats just my POV.
It's OK, I hated Avatar (the film). We're all allowed to dislike stuff.

Now I don't have any reason to pass that one. I only played the demo a long time ago and I already knew how much ass it kicked.

Oh my God, that's awesome.

I loved this game as a kid and was I think the first PS2 game I ever played.

I will be buying this again.

I thought Shiny (earthworm Jim devs) made this? Someone please enlighten me.
Shiny made the first MDK. BioWare made the second one.
My god. It's like Elvis and Michael Jackson collaborating on a Frank Sinatra duet album.

PS: This is supposed to be an OMGWTFBBQ AWESOME!! thing.

EDIT: Never played MDK or MDK2. Are they like Armed and Dangerous at all?

That's actually not a bad comparison, though MDK was more polished (for the years the game was released). Armed and Dangerous had more of a plot and dialogue.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS xD

Edit: Oh wait... what the hell is Beamdog? I don't want no Beamdog :/
What's wrong with Beamdog? "Founded by Ex-Bioware co-founder, Trent Oster and Veteran Game Developer, [also of BioWare] Cameron Tofer..."

Two old Bio vets re-releasing an oldie-but-goodie Bio game? Sounds good to me.

People that hate Steam for it's DRM type software may actually not like the Beamdog either since it is practically the same thing.

I loved MDK2 - as a matter of fact it's still installed (or rather, continually re-installed) on my system right now. There are very few iterations of my computer that have not had the quota of 6-armed robotic cigar-chomping dogs with jetpacks and uzis met. So hilarious!
