With singing. Sorry.
Potential 'spoilers' as far as a randomised, story-less game can be spoiled.

Awesome review! You hit all of the good parts and hit the two weaknesses of the game. Also, looking at the update page on the wiki, it appears that Relogic took into account that the action is better than the mining and added a bunch of awesome stuff that enhances the action.

Thanks V8 Ninja.
The action is great - such smooth gameplay - but it needs purpose after the 20 hour mark. I guess games like Torchlight and Din's Curse achieve this by generating 'infinite' dungeons with an constantly rising difficulty curve and endlessly improving loot :/

Of course they can still get dull. But they don't have mining, building or multiplayer options.

Wait, Torchlight creates infinite dungeons? Last time I checked, it only increased the loot & difficulty of each dungeon floor. =/ Also, I get the whole "20-Hour Mark Dead-End" issue as well, seeing as how I have basically everything that I'll ever need.

I thought Torchlight randomly generated the dungeons themselves from a palette of types & pieces - I could be wrong.

I'll re-play Terraria after a few more updates have been released... ;)

Muaha, brilliant! It's like a wonderful mix of regular video reviews, Acorn Cinema and what it would look like if Oscar Wilde mused melodramatically to himself about video games. Keep up the fine work, sir!
