I don't know about you, but if that happened to me when I was a kid I would have thought it was a fun ride. Kids like shit like that.

If she can't raise her children to behave properly or deal with them effectively then she doesn't deserve custody of them.
That's not justified. Cruel to the kid (unless he was a real jackass, but still then it's over-the-top) but it kind of looked like fun, and relaxing. If I was a kid I'd rather be dragged around then being forced to walk for 2-3 hours, lol.
But I think what's more annoying is parents who let their child do whatever the hell they want and don't discipline them. I hate little kids sometimes, so much.
Though, I'm nowhere near being a parents yet, so I don't know how hard it can be.

Actually id let my dog go around without leash, kid - not so much. When i was about 2-3 years old i managed to escape the grasp of parenting care several times in shops, because it was easy and kids like to wander around. Its all fine till they just walk around the shop, but what if sometimes decides to lead them far away? Dogs are wiser than little kids <.<Pegghead said:

That really is terrible parenting, it's irresponsible to drag your kid around like that while they are wearing a choke chain like that and it's just plain mean to put your kid on a leash. True, some parents might use the 'kiddy leash' to keep the kids close by because they don't want them to come to any harm which I can understand but when you drag your kid around like that it kinda defeats the purpose.
So yeah, it's actually kind of sickening.

When I was younger (2-4 years old) I was kept on a harness simply because I would wander around a lot and apparently didn't have the common sense to stay near my mother in the local Wal*Mart. But also, I loved it when my parents would drag me around the house with that thing. How are we sure that this isn't the same thing?

It's actually not that bad. The boy doesn't look like he's in any pain, and the woman just looks really pissed off.
