Wow, just figured it out and I find your description rather apt Hashime. Congrats to everyone at the escapist, not just the puzzle writers but everyone else who stuck it out with the rest of us for 5 days. Nice job everyone.

I finally figured it out thanks to the clues. Thanks to everyone for posting their findings, as I wouldn't have made it past the first day by myself. At least I didn't lose more then half my mind, so I can keep working on my school finals with the other half.
Well, it took 2 hours of careful thought, plus the fact that I just abondonded my homework for this puzzle, not to mention my brain melting, but i finished this puzzle
I've decided to throw out one more hint before I go to bed. And to make it lots of fun, it's a limerick!

There once was a great big museum that had so many pictures people had to go see 'em, a girl and her mum walked while together they talked and stopped at the exhibit to see 'em.

You see he was a great scientist, as you can see he sits amongst the finest, but because of some quirks and a bunch of loud jerks, people don't know his impact was highest.
