That doesn't work with driving while texting unless the driver happens to hit something bigger than they are, which happened to the girlfriend of someone I know. I felt sorry for the bus driver, he was REALLY distraught over it. (The boyfriend was oddly resigned to it. He figured it was going to happen.)Gaz6231 said:The fact that a documentary even exists proves that common sense is dead.
Time to start taking the warning labels off things and let natural selection take over for a while.
that little video sums it up rather nicely....and I never text and drive anyway.....I mean sure I check my phone at at stop lights and signs and maybe call someone on speaker phone....but those two are it.....I will NEVER fiddle with my phone while the cars in motion(or at a high speed anyway)Dags90 said:I do it at red lights, sometimes I check my phone at stop signs. Since getting a touch screen phone though, I pretty much just wait until I'm wherever I'm going to actually do anything other than read.
Enjoy this wonderfully graphic BBC PSA.
Is it bad that the stock "crunch" sound bit at :28 made me chuckle?
You would think it is common sense. But it seems every time I'm riding in a car with someone and looking at the other drivers, more younger people are texting while driving than not. I always fuss at my friends when they do it, usually because they are driving badly (though they'll say they're a pro at it and are driving fine, even while they nearly slammed into the back of the car ahead of us).SnootyEnglishman said:It's matter of common sense really don't need a documentary about it.
Trust me, the type of people who drive while texting will be the first to eat the little packet of silica gel. 'Oh look, I got free candy with my iPod'.Formica Archonis said:That doesn't work with driving while texting

Oh come now, it totally does. It's a stupid thing to do which means you'd have to be stupid to do it.DustyDrB said:It's not a smart thing to do, but it doesn't make the people who do it unintelligent.
That i can agree with.Eri said:While the people that do it might somewhat deserve what they get, the people they hit, don't.SnootyEnglishman said:Not my fault they didn't use their brains.Eri said:Tell that to the people that were killed or permanently injured.SnootyEnglishman said:It's matter of common sense really don't need a documentary about it.
