Day 3: A mode called Mann up mode is here, which lets you get extra cosmetic items. Certain things in MVM requires monetary purchase however playing it is free. A new map designed by the soldier.

MVM has missions, waves of robots on a single map, and tours of duty which are multiple missions each on different maps played consecutively. Tours of duty (TOD) only exist in Mann up mode, a mode which only is playable on special Mann co servers (I assume they are MVM dedicated servers) but you also need a ticket which must be purchased for $0.99 to play Mann up mode.

Progress and special cosmetics can be attained in Mann up mode. In a speicifc TOD, you get a badge which is completed everytime a mission in the TOD is completed. Completing a TOD badge gets you a random item.

Personally I think that you have to buy a ticket every uncompleted mission in Mann up mode is a bit pricey.

"Each time you complete an unfinished Mission on your ToDB in Mann Up Mode, you'll earn an item. This will consume the Tour of Duty Ticket you presented to enter Mann Up Mode."

Oh also a secret link in the main page leads to a link to buy an Archimedes plush toy which has a code to an ingame Archimedes that players can use for the Medic.

For those not following the TF2 story, there's Redmond and Blutarch, the ever feuding brothers who pit near-identical mercenaries against each other. Recently rumours of a secret update have become more clear as there is now a conformation of Gray, a third brother.

There was also an ARG code which when cracked lead to a secret crafting recipe which when crafted unlocked this comic http://www.teamfortress.com/bloodbrothers/

I never remembered shit from Valve getting this real since the Engineer Update.
I've heard the music in the clues video before (it's the same music as in the Meet the Spy video), but never have I remembered it being so chilling. Once shudders at the idea of what Valve can bring up for its release of Half Life 2 Episode 3.

Holly... (SPOILER) Grey just killed Redmond and Blutarch and plans on using RED and BLU to take down Mann Co? I had no idea that the Mann vs. Machine Update would go into these depths! Of course, Redmond and Blutarch will probably come back, as I can't see why they would permanently kill off the two people TF2 is fought for. Still, that's just awesome!

But in all hopefulness, I hope it's just not another Red Vs. Blue match where Red is Robots and Blue isn't. I want both Red And Blue Team fighting robots at the same time! Don't cheat me with Red Robots vs. Blue people!
