TF2: Possible weapons for Soldier....?

Well I was reading through the comic strips made by Valve and found a hidden link [http://www.teamfortress.com/war/saxtonhale/poopyjoe.htm] in one. Reading this it has a list of four items one of which is a sword... which the demo received in the latest update!!

So I'm thinking that the bugle and pickaxe could be for the soldier, as he uses a shovel whoch could be replaced with a pickaxe and bugles are often associated with the military. (Can't decide about the explosion plate though.)

So what do you think? Think I'm reading too much into stuff? Or even what would you like to see the soldier get?

EDIT2: Also found this on the website, could this possibly be a clue to future weapon??

EDIT3: First weapon for the Soldier was announced... and it is a Rocket Launcher with a smaller blast radius but greater damage!

-70% blast radius
+80% speed of rocket
+25% destructive force

You forgot the other plate which was the explosion which sounds like it could be very relevant to The Soldier.

Depends, if it's Budweiser, then no. If it's Whiskey or Vodka, then yes.

As a matter of fact, the in the secret Demoman Comic, it had four crates. One with Chargin' Targe, The Eyelander and there was one without markings and one that had the beginnings of "Demo- Rest-" (The dashes were there cause you couldn't see the rest)
But for the soldier, I'm going to have to say either the pickaxe or the bugle are coming in. They were both featured in the Poopy Joe secret article and they told us about a sword. And, lo and behold, a sword appears.

IS Whiskey a Scottish drink? i've always associated it with the SouthWest USA, like Texas and all that.

Scotch is a type of Whisky. And has its own laws as well!

To be called Scotch whisky the spirit must conform to the standards of the Scotch Whisky Order of 1990 (UK), which clarified the Scotch Whisky Act 1988, and mandates that the spirit:

1. Must be distilled at a Scottish distillery from water and malted barley, to which only other whole grains may be added, have been processed at that distillery into a mash, converted to a fermentable substrate only by endogenous enzyme systems, and fermented only by the addition of yeast,
2. Must be distilled to an alcoholic strength of less than 94.8% by volume so that it retains the flavour of the raw materials used in its production,
3. Must be matured in Scotland in oak casks for no less than three years and a day,
4. Must not contain any added substance other than water and caramel colouring, and

Maybe a cool new Rocket Launcher and a more interesting secondary weapon. although the Shottie is pretty useful at times.

For the soldiers i think like an RPG would be nice

-75% ammo capacity
+15% damage
+25% explosive force (higher rocket jumps)

for a secondary maybe a lever-action shotgun

+10% time between shots
+20% damage
+5% pellet spread

Homing rockets would be a bit too hard to avoid I think but it would be nice. And the sword was apparently for the monkey to fight off Soviet monkeynaut Vladimir Bananas
