And yes, it does look well done, but I think the spy one (which I can't seem to find) seemed more plausible; those weapons look too convoluted.

Plus the fact that the shotgun is from Gears of War. That pretty much tells you right there it's fake.

I'll ape an idea for a scout weapon I heard from someone else. Cap gun. 100% critical while capping a point. I like it.

Me also likey; very inventive and has that slightly irreverent humour that Valve are known for having.

Haven;'t played GoW so didn;t recognise it, but I did think it looked out of place.

Well, thats the one upside about the 360 getting sod all so far. We're getting all the updates as one big pack once their finished...hopefully.

EDIT: Found the fake spy update for anyone who wants to see. The look of the weapons make it almost plausible, but the knife replacement...not so much

Here are a few of my ideas:
Achievements:

"Yo, what's up?"- Kill a Heavy eating a sandvich
"Minuteman"- Capture all control points on a map within 60 seconds
"Boston Marathon"- Run a total distance of 26.2 miles
"You like that, don't you?"- Kill 50 medics with your bat
"I'm flying here!"- Double-jump a total distance of 1 million feet

Weapon:

"The Boston Slugger"- lv. 10 bat, -25% damage, reflects rockets and grenades on successful hit

Honestly? best idea's i've ever heard. Especially the slugger.

Spiked bat - 50% slower swing, 50% crit bonus.

Whiffle bat - -50% damage, deflects all rockets and explosives and beanballs.

Achievements:
Bronx Bomber - kill 25 enemies while in mid-air.
Safe at home - with only 25 health left, heal in your home base (10 times)
Round the bases - Cap every point on the map.
Bloody Cleats - kill an enemy while standing on his head.
Slight glitch - kill 10 sentries.
Pound the pork - kill 25 heavies with your bat.
Hot lead injection - kill 25 medics with your pistol.
Scatter brains - kill 25 engineers with your scattergun.
Boom goes the dynamite - kill 10 demos with their own explosives.

Those actually sound like the sort of things that Valve would do. Well done!

i agree, those are actually good. the reflecting bat is a nice weapon, but it might be too similar to the pyro's gas burst.

I'm really looking forward to this update. Scout's my favourite by far, but he's simply useless on a lot of maps (when I play him. I need space and choose to avoid chokepoints).

I'd like the bat to be replaced by a baseball that distracts a sentry from the Scout who threw it for a few seconds. Could also be hit by a bat that does no crits or something.

Hope some sentry-distracting device won't land on the pistol slot. I love that thing too much to replace it with anything else.

What happens when a new update like this comes out? The class gets whored. Which class gets the most screwed by sentries, heavies and pyros...

Wow...you're pretty creative!

Anyways, for the scout update, I think that the main weapon might be then Nailgun from TFC.

Just a thought.

Simply because Valve is more of a PC dev and therefore the effort goes to the PC version. You wont be getting the updates until all the classes are done; I imagine.
