funny, what i heard was that valve was planning on releasing it for the consoles when more of the updates were available. and for the record, valve just dislikes the ps3, they are very much supporting the 360.
anyway, giving the heavy a rocket launcher? please. my guess is it will be that it takes longer to charge up the minigun but it gives a higher percentage of critical hits (and MAY reduce hp or something to compensate further). as for the shotgun, no clue, same for the knuckles. maybe theyll go and completly change the melee weapon instead of just upgrading it, they'll probably do that for the shotgun, but what theyd do to it i have no clue.
also, BRING OUT THE ENGINEER UPDATE NEXT!!!!!!!! seriously, thats my best class, im dying to see what kind of changes they have in store for the sentries and teleporters.
oh, and of course the next meet the class videos (cant wait to see the pyro personally). and they need to give the blu team some love in the videos as well.

I was wondering about this. I ordered The Orange Box from ebay and I read on wikipedia that there would be updates via the PS store, but upon checking i found that there were no updates there. So will consoles(specifically the PS3) be getting updates or not?
probably not the ps3 version seeing as valve dislikes the console with a firey passion. id wager that the 360 version would get it eventually. anyway, shame on you, should have gotten the pc version, much better support and better online play (more players per server as well as mods and custom maps, new weapons and quite a few fun extras at that). and you cant use the "my computers not good enough/dont want to spend $2000 dollars" excuse, its not crysis, you can get a pc that will play all source engine games for less than a ps3.
oh, and while that last part was meant more as a joke/3am and kinda tipsy thing, REALLY shame on you for trusing wikipedia.
