Rocket Launcher
name it "The Boomstick" (Evil Dead)
or "ROCKET LAWNCHAIR" (Engrish from the Metal Slug series)

Rifle
"head popa,"
"BOOM HEADSHOT!"

Grenade launcher
"mr.bomb"
"boomstick" (might work better with this)
"problem engineers?"

sticky launcher
"the boobytrapper"
"BOOM!"

I named my Tribal Man,s shiv "chop-chop"

Naming weapons wtf? Seriously, I've never been particularly fond of tf2 but every time it adds redundant features like this it alienates me more.

And yet I'm somehow supposed to accept that this is universally better then all the other team based shooters I play and love *grumble*

On topic: Silent Death, Fury, Retribution, Justice or....Senor Bang bang!

You can name your guns? Hmm...somehow I've missed that in my 200+ hours of playing the game.

Wow, first hats and now naming your stuff... TF2 has really changed since I last played it...

How about Lil' Snipey?
changing the appearance of stuff does not really matter. it's still the same game. : p
Yes, technically it is the same game but what has changed isn't only cosmetics. There is a wide variety of new weapons that change the gameplay, not to mention the motivation of the players. I have found that people have become more obsessed with trying to obtain new items rather than play just for fun.

Another way of looking at it is Gamification and addition of RPG-like elements into a traditionally class-based shooter. (I'm comparing TF2 now from how it started btw).

"The End"
Ah MGS3

Or you could be more eclectic in your naming and call it "Ultima Ratio Regum" - The Last Argument of Kings.

Or "Ultima Ratio Novus Populus" - The Last Argument of Newbs
