As you all ( or at least most of you) know, TF2 for Xbox 360 has updates, but the PS3 doesn't. The other day, I went over to a friend's house, and he was playing TF2 for the 360. He told me that not many people actually play the game, and there were only about 5 games going. What's going on? If more people play on the PS3, shouldn't it get the updates?

It's harder to develop for, I believe. Also, Microsoft may have some deal with Valve to get the stuff first.

First: 360 doesn't get updates.
Second: VALVe dislike the PS3.
Third: Plenty of people play it on 360.
I hope that answers your question.

Perhaps the code for the PS3 version is more difficult to work with. Maybe Microsoft is easier to program for. I dunno. I doubt if Valve really favors the X-Box over the PS3 or vice versa, so it seems like an issue of which one is more technically difficult and warrants more attention. I do know that Valve is primarily concerned with PC gaming though and they kind of give consoles the shaft (sorry guys).

You mean Valve has to fuss at microsoft to release updates. Not to mention sony kind of says "Hey you guys should make DLC for us but we won't help you in any way." Their dev kits were terrible.
