This a totally reasonable reaction.
Really?
I'm going to sit here and stare at you with a dead look on my face until you realize what I was really saying.
Oh it's YOU! Sorry Mr. Reaper, you seem to have changed your avatar, it's messed me up! But now I see clearly, it is of course the Master of Sarcasm at work!

You really should have announced this avatar change, think of how many others are left in bewilderment!

Hmm... I wonder how many more people will commit suicide after the Thai government blocks these sites?
This. Seems incredibly counter-intuitive to me.

"Hey, banning games made this kid kill himself. Let's ban all gaming websites and see what happens."
My thought exactly. Whose idea was this?

The Dept. of Population Control?

I wonder if they will stop making school mandatory if a bunch of kids committed suicide in protest...

Or if they will free some criminals who threaten to commit suicide...

Because anytime someone dies we just have to remove whatever was involved in their death, no matter how unreasonable it might be.

So which clever guys idea was it to respond to a suicide after removal of video games by mass removal of video games? Clever stuff. Also, its pretty stupid that video games were even discussed at all; the kid was clearly a wacko and the games had little to do with that.

I bet the judge had never even played a video game before and was just relying on the 3rd party opinion of some other guy who has also never played video games before claiming them to be murder simulators or some bollocks like that. Bullshit.

Wait, so one disturbed 12 year old boy kills himself because he hates his parents, who just happened to discipline him by taking away his favorite (and possibly only) free time activity, and Thai loses all gaming...? Wow, so if a crazy nut job escapes from an insane asylum, kills himself on the freeway and leaves a message written in his own feces that he hates the establishment, does this mean Thai will abolish its entire government? Every last person in support of and who instituted this policy should be executed without question. Sorry, but stupidity of this magnitude is a crime and a sin punishable only by death. The world badly needs its garbage taken out.

So, the government of Thailand is going to wipe out every potentially suicidal online gamer all at once by making all of them suicidal at the same time?
. . .
*facepalm*
My thoughts exactly. Facepalm indeed, my friend. Facepalm indeed.

Verily, it must have been the vidja games that compelled the muscles in the boy's body to make him step over that edge. Because as we all know, vidja games are the root of all evil in this and any other plane, and are responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, original sin, and Watergate along with other horrific problems up to and including 9/11.

It totally couldn't have been any lingering mental issues the kid could have had.

So, if gamers will commit suicide if things are taken from them... why are they shutting down the sites? Even within their own logic, this makes no sense.

Also, isn't an agressive reaction expected from any child who is grounded/punished?
It is very clear that this child had problems outside of being "addicted" to videogames.

Well, looks like somebody was looking for an excuse to shut down gaming sites.
Pretty much what I'm thinking. They clearly wanted the excuse and jumped on the first story they found that had ANYTHING that could be linked to video games.

The general population of Thailand can't be stupid enough to let this go through, can they?
