Earlier today, I found out that someone had made a congratulatory thread for me, because I had achieved the real ultimate poster badge. While not all of the comments where positive [footnote]My being famous is totally justified![/footnote] I'm still very honored.

So this is my thank you note. Not just to the person who created the thread, but to all of the Escapist. People have complained about this site not being as good as it used to be, but I don't see the point: This is still the best community I've ever had the privilege to be a part of.

As many of you, I came here because of Zero Punctuation. But I have stayed here because of you. Because of the people that engage in discussions, the people with hilarious comments, yes even the trolls serve a reason as to why I have stayed here. I may sound preachy, which is totally the point, but I am 100% serious when I say that this is my favorite place to hang out.

WoW-nerds don't spend as much time raiding as I did posting the last weeks. I've raised about 2-3k posts in under a month.
