Most of us have had some bad experience with hackers, whether they are glitching the game, stealing your account, or generally making your life hell.

But am I the only one that actually wants to thank his?

I have been hacked in WoW a few more times then I would like, but the result has been spectacular!

I have been given an IMMENSE amount of god, and pre-cata I was essentially GIVEN epic flying with 4k gold to spare.

Anyone else have any Thank You stories of hackers?

hahahaha! yes, a guy hacked my runescape profile and, though i had no money afterwards, i had 40 rich friends and full rune EVERYTHING and the capability to use it.

Im going to become a hacker and hack into people accounts and give them goodies to make up for all the horrible things people have done.

When the hackers hack-block other hackers, or when I'm really stuck on a mission and someone comes along and safely walks me through it.

I got a virus on my computer, which destroyed it completely and gave some guy access to my Steam account, but when Steam support was very helpful and recovered my account (not like Xbox support), it turned out he had gotten me a bunch of achievements in Counter-Strike.

I am sure there are nice hackers out there I just have not met one

to be fair the only run in i have had with a hacker was years ago when I played maplestory some jackass was running around and had hacked the game so he was inveincable and just ran around killing all the mobs in this one map and single handed pissing off everyone in the map who was trying to grind the map

Hacker is one of the most misused words on the internet. I can't stand when people give out their passwords and then claim they got "hacked". Hackers did not steal yours or anyone else's worthless account. I've played dozens of mmos, some where I've had plenty of stuff worth stealing, and it's always the noobs who get "hacked" and never me. Funny how that works, huh?

I've never had any experience with hackers outside of CS 1.6, but it was fun to watch when hackers on each team went up against each other. The one with the aimbot and wallhack usually won, though.
