My Windows Explorer just crashed. what a bummer, it happened again, but i have learned from my mistakes. Now all i do is open up Steam, i have it open all the time anyway so it's really just pulling it back up, and i go into a game, any of the low-demand ones, like GTA VC like i am right now and then i puul out the shift+tab thing, and viola! I have the web and a game.

you may say this is probably bad that it keeps doing that, to be honest i dont mind at all. you may say i should just restart, well i was in the middle of something and my computer stopped me it hurt me inside, so i will get back at it i will live without it's little start button, and the icons on my desktop, windows task manager works fine.

If this is messed up looking or etc. it's the steam browser's fault not mine.

Just wanted you to know

That's a novel way of preventing Explorer from crashing - try Firefox or something though if Windows is continually being useless.

If Windows is being useless you could instead use Mac or if you don't want to pay to use your computer, which you payed for, you could use Linux.

Or you could get a trial version of vista and make it unregistered :0
But Bill Gates might not like that.

Is it still in Beta, or has it been released? What a fine tool...
Still in Beta? Steams been out for like 40 Bazillion trillion years!
I'm talking about the in-game internet browser.

No, as I recall it's gone public.

Also, I think he meant INTERNET Explorer. If explorer.exe was crashing, he'd hardly solve it by using Steam.

I never have any problems with Steam. Have any of you guys considered that you just don't perform proper maintenance on your PCs?

What interesting conversations going on.

i will never ever ever evr EVUR use a mac, not for my life. It's something about them, like being in a room with somebody who you know killed 15 people, and he doesn't know you know but you don't know if he knows you know or not. And sony, i try to stay away from them as much as possible, same reasons, except they are really just nerds trying to make people forget that every other console is cheaper and is generally better. not sure on Linux, maybe just will wait for windows 7, hopefully it will save the day like XP did for ME.

I restarted btw, and it was windows explorer that failed me.

If ya'd like to attack me on my views of the future authoritarian rule sony and apple will pose on us please go shoot yourself, because i dont care, why don't you man up before coming to a big boy's forum? google will save us in the end, imagine if google and microsoft merged and then apple and sony merged, I can see the apocalyptic horsemen now
