Anyone see the trailer for that new movie called Unstoppable? When I first saw it I thought of that math problem Train X leave City A at so fast and Train Y leaves city B at semi Fast how long until they collide or meet or however it goes? Yeah so apparently they are making movies out of math problems next there will be a movie about Sally and her 4 apples then Jimmy gets pissed because she gave James 2 and him 1 and she had only 1 apple left then Jimmy goes on a killing spree.

Also Escapist if you had to make a movie out of some Iconic thing from a class what would you make it about and History class does not count in this one.

"Let's take a 5 minute sequence in a generic action movie, drag it out to 2 hours, and presto! Art film!"

If I had to watch a movie based on math, though, I'd prefer it to be linear algebra rather than calculus. Series are messing me up this semester.

And now I've mentioned it, it still could. You want a movie, with conflict and drama, base it on a thread like that.

Otherwise there could be some cocky teenager always disrupting class, mouthing off about how school is pointless and he'll never use that stuff in real life. Then he gets kidnapped like in the Saw movies and forced to solve maths problems in order to survive. When he gets to the end and confronts the guy who set it up, he begs for his life and accepts that complex maths really is useful in every day life.
At which point the bad guy says, "No its not, I just wanted to fuck with your head" and then kills him.

He then turns to a CCTV screen where he watches a group of people in a spelling bee where mis-spelling = death.
