So I went back to playing some good old CoD-MW2 online after a 2 month break lastnight! And just 2 minutes into it my F***ing nose starts to itch! Not just once but like, every 5 mins for the entire night! Just like it used to do 2 months ago when I last played! So naturally I let my guard down for 1.5 of a second and it just happens to be the time when an enemy player comes around the corner and fills me with bullets! Thanks again.... Itch,

So my questions is. Has anyone else out there met their deaths because of a f***ing itch?
Or alternatively an uncomfortable pillow you needed to adjust or something equally petty?

Sneezing is always a killer, especially if you're in the middle of something delicate, like aiming down a scope or playing a game like Motorstorm, where you have to pay attention to every single moment on screen.

The nose itch is every gamer's true worst enemy.

The last time I've met my doom because of it was just a few hours ago when I was playing the Town Shooting Gallery in Majora's Mask. I had the itch and right as I scratched it, every single freaking Octorock decided to dive into the water.

Yeah, definately this. I can sometimes hold off a sneeze for maybe 2 seconds max but then it when I do finally sneeze it feels as if I'm going to blow my hole nose off my face.

Have you ever violently sneezed mid-Guitar Hero solo?

It's hilarious, yet frustrating.

I think the only time it happened to me was I was running through a wide open portion of a map that was pretty much no man's land and I sneezed, mmaking my character go in a circle from the involuntary movement, and getting sniped by three guys.

usually though, when I play online I'll play in teams, and we always have a buddy who camps and snipes and provides cover. So if there's a guy we dont see, he does, and sends him straight to gaming Hell.

It really sounds like you need to see your doctor and test if you're allergic to that game...

Ah ha! +1 for PC Gaming, at least with a mouse and keyboard you can scratchnose with the left hand while still flailing around in circles shooting with the right.

I had a sneezing fit while healing the warrior tank on twin emps once (my hayfever is horrible) my guild mates weren't happy with starting a 20 minute boss over again and ofc they didn't believe me about the sneezing and just thought I was a spaz....
