Okay I'm going to try this, been desperate to figure this out for a long time.
It was a really old PC game, I would've played it sometime in the 90's. A dungeon crawler RPG with supremely dated graphics, very minimal. You played some guy who's village was destroyed, family killed and after discovering this in the first couple seconds of the game you walk a few steps north and you get to the first dungeon, inside a mountain. It had numerous floors (I remember some of the enemies like gelatinous cubes and manticores)... the second dungeon was the castle of the villain who had killed your family, and that was the end of the game. It was a pure dungeon crawl, all about getting equipment, gold and leveling your character.
Er the layout of the dungeons was all white with black bordering to indicate walls and you uncovered the map as you went... it was all randomly generated when you entered.
That's all I can remember >.>
