I don't know how many of you frequent this site but its been down all day from what I can see. I've just wished to bring this to anyone's attention and put it down somewhere that this has been happening.

I do wish to know though if anyone knows why this is going down. Any confirmed reports or just guesses?

I got on about hour ago by googling Nostalgia critic and going directly to the list of NC episodes, but that appears to not work anymore.

As a side note, if it's another publicity stunt to tell us about that bill that limits the freedom of the internet, I'll break something.

Quite a few people I know from the "Crowded Sidewalk" and "The Deceased Colt Barter". While I dislike the site's contributors (At least, some of them), I wouldn't go so far as to shut it down, even if it were within my power.

First off: Why does that site being down for a day really mean that much to you? Does it matter that much that you can't look at their news articles or comment on their videos for internet cred?

Second: Most contributors have their own private sites where they upload their videos, in addition to their accounts on bliptv.com [http://blip.tv/] (which they all have). Who do you think hosts their videos?

Under the gateway timeout "nginx/1.0.6" is displayed so I'm guessing whatever that is, it's probably the cause of the problem. Well... that or blip.tv as I'm always seeing the error when attempting to watch any video that uses it.
