1. When I realized that I can't own all the Disney movies on VHS but will have to buy them all on DVD

2. I will never be able to see Nickelodeon studios (so much for getting slimed)

3. The cartoons that were on during my time will never never never been showed again.

4. When I tried to jump over a fence and really hurt myself and realized I can't do the stupid stunts I once did as a kid.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.

It's when you realize, holy crap, everyone now hates Transformers and likes MLP. It's like the total opposite when I was 5.

Oh I know I know! Oh god I'm old :(
I did that the other day!

A few days ago I was comin home after buying Arkham City and some kids were pissing about in the street and the first thing that came to mind was "Back when I was that age, my mum woulda beat the crap outta me if i spent all day standing in the street screamin and fighting like these little shits" then it hit me, I'm 25 goin on 50!

First time was when a kid in Gamestop looked up from buying the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game and said "You mean there were TMNT movies before this one, Dad?". The second time was when I realized I had to scroll down to reach my birth year now.

When I heard some kid refer to Queen and Areosmith as, "that old, forgotten band from the 90's". That was an eye opener for me and I was born in 1993.

I think mine was staying up until 3 am one day, and trying to be up by 6:30 and just not being able to do it. I was like what the hell I used to do this all the time in highschool what do I feel like I'm on the brink of death? I ended up calling in sick and sleep until 4pm.

I did a 'how could you leave the house looking like such a slut' look at a group of tween girls a few years back. then a 'we were never this fucked up when I was 15'... I'm 29.

I have accepted myself and that I will be an old lady living with a menagerie of animals.

Here's my two moments:

1. When in the middle of playing CoD: Black Ops, someone asked me how I knew so much about the M72 LAW, and I said I'd trained with them...and then had to explain that I'm 40. The silence was deafening.

2. When I found myself sickened and outraged when I saw a nine-year old allowed to wear sweatpants with 'Juicy' across the seat...and my first thought was 'when did it become normal for parents to approve of strangers staring at their *child's ass*???'

When I started losing my hair I no longer could claim to be young. Granted I started losing my hair at the tender age of 22, which is not fun, so now 2 years later I look much older than 24. Not that looking older serves any real purpose now.

Also felt old when Groove Coverage did 21st Century Digital Girl, and some younger people said that Bad Religion's 21st Century Digital Boy was a copy. I didn't get angry, like I perhaps should of, just put it down to kids not knowing any better.

The first time I shouted at a bunch of young'ns for spray painting up my fence while riding on their scooters with their phones wearing designer jeans and faggy Right-Bracket-Left-Bracket Hurley T-shirts. It feels good to yell at the next generation :D.

The moment you know you're OLD is when you start keeping tissues in your sleeve or waistband.

EDIT: Well I think I was old well before my time because I remember hating the new flashy NESs with their graphics and their fun, Fuck this shit imma play Zork =D.

When I got a free drink in a bar for knowing the full name of "Guybrush T.", as the drink was named in that particular bar.

Wait? Why is it that you're old if you're an adult? At least that's the gist I caught from the OP.

I have plenty of moments where I realize just how much older I am than others, but I have yet to have a moment where I genuinely feel "old". Obviously it'll happen eventually, but I doubt any time soon. Regardless of when it happens, it really holds no significance to me.

When all my friends started getting married, but then I realised I am 12 years older than the one who started this discussion, and that was the moment I have felt most being old ... :(

I am 23 years young. The only possible way for me to feel old is to be surrounded by children online and engaging in a conversation with them. Then the question remains, why would I even attempt to communicate with children. Nothing to gain, it's just testing my tolerance. But at some point you have this small sense of being a father figure when they appreciate you and take in your advise. That's probably as close to being a father as I would ever want to be :p

When I realised that I'm not as bullet-proof as I used to be, high falls, fist fights and getting beaten up, I would always bounce back in a day or so, but just the other week I fell from a chair when changing a light bulb and my back, legs and arse have been sore ever since, I can't stay up as long or stay out as late, I remember a time when my friends and I would stay at our friends house party till almost dawn, we had one the other week and it barely made it past midnight; I'm only 21...

1) When my bones ache in rainy weather...
2) When I ask other students about what they're wearing/doing and make a safety-suggestions...
3) When I say I'm leaving and end up sitting to chat some more...
4) When I walked back 3 times because I forgot things...
5) When I go to class to hand in a report, and go home after the teacher let us out early; when there was a party in walking distance...
And all this was my just last Thursday

I noticed I was old (even though i'm only 25) When I kept saying, "back in my day". I can't even identify with kids nowadays.
