That one character

Have you ever had that one character that just ruined the game for you? We have the famous examples of Navi and Ashley, but I want to hear some other examples, or just give people a chance to vent.

Here's mine: Marumaro from Blue Dragon. Marumaro is the Jar Jar Binks of this game. His voice feels like a cheese grater inside you eardrums and his personality is like a 5-year old spliced with a chipmunk on speed and a liter of coffee. Fuck this guy. Apart from him, the game is pretty solid if it's your thing, with Marumaro (unfortunately) being one of the best melee fighters in the game.

Malikov in Resistance 3. That shitbiscuit just won't shut the fuck up!

"Be quiet! OR THEY MIGHT HEAR US!!!" And things like that.

That stupid little kid in Onimusha. He's completely pointless, just existing because apparently every survival horror game since Aliens was released needs a little kid to protect. The ninja lady is pretty annoying too, being the obligitory "now, play through a section with someone much less powerful and interesting" character, but at least the story doesn't grind to a halt when she is around.

And the main character in Drakengard 2, Nowe. Such a lamer. Its sad when the hero of Drakengard 1 could be both mute AND an asshole and still come across as more likable than Nowe. And whats worse is that his sheer dumbness actually drags down the other, more interesting characters.

And Anders in DA2. He went from one of the funniest characters to someone from a Twilight film.

Hey, Anders is still funny! You just have to bring him along with you to see it. Plus, Anders+Fenris on any Mage vs. Templar mission=Instant Hilarity.

I only played the demo of the game but the titular Majin from Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom really got on my nerves. The most retarded irritating character I've ever come across in a game. I was actually interested in the game before I played that demo. It looked pretty cool. Then I heard his voice. Killed it instantly.

Never had any deal breakers, but I have a nice little list of characters I hate:
