That One Genre

We all know it. Its that one genere. That one style of game. The one kind of game, where no matter what we do, it must onyl exist to hand us ass-whoopins and slices of humble pie.

We crionge whenever it's brought up to play. We might have nightmares about it even. But it remains the one kind of game that no matter howhard we try, we never, ever get anywhere in it.

For me, its the fighting game. I only exist in those games to be a digital punching bag. for SFIV and DOA4 I might as well change my gamertag to "Free Rank Up Points", so I present such a momumentally small challenge to anyone who has ever played a video game ever.

What genre do you dread having to play?

I don't dread playing any genre.

I kick ass at every game and genre I play.

For every new game I play, it takes me 10 minutes for me to adapt and learn to begin kicking ass.

10 minutes for all those people to either win or get out.

If I had a computer capable, I'd almost be tempted to fire up DoWC and kick your crons with my Eldar!

EXACTLY!!! Its just too boring for me to handle. I love the story of Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger and shit like that, but I just can't take the combat.

yeah i know what you mean i have friends that play games like final fantasy and shiz like that and when they talk about what the storys are about and that i think aww cool i might be able to get into that but when it comes to actaully playing the game the combat for me feels more like a task like it becomes the anouying part of the game just like escort missions are in others what kind of destroy the hole fun of the game because i wouldnt say combat is the main and only thing i look for in a game but its one of the key ellements actaully the only turn based combat game i ever completed was pokemon blue lol

wow that would be my to do list for games to check out is it coming out on the 360 or just the ps3 if so i will just get my brother to buy it lol its what i normally do if i cant get it on my gaming systerm lol
