I've spent years trying to remember what this show is called, but the name will not come to me. I've asked all of my friends if they remember, and they remember the show, but cannot for the life of them remember the name. All those failing the last resort seems to be to request the internet for assistance, it has been bothering me for much too long. Now, bear with me, my description is REALLY vague:

Okay, so about 6-9 years ago there was this one show that aired on YTV (Canadian channel, probably won't help anyone outside of here). It had this Spaceship with a lion head on the front that would go along this metal track and shoot off into a purple-ish black portal that would send them into a different dimension full of Dragons an Vampires and various other generic fantasy creatures. The characters consisted of a boy, a girl, and a scientist. Every single time they entered the ship they would go down this zipline like thing and swing off it into the ship. The scientist always would hit the wall and fall down from there.

Alright, that's all I remember. I don't remember if it was a good show or bad, but the fact I cannot put a name to this random childhood memory bugs me soo much. Does anyone remember what this show was called?

EDIT: Just to clarify it is a cartoon.

Sadly I cannot. A little while ago I looked up every show that aired on YTV since I was born and still could not find it.

As for more description? I have some vague recollection that when some of these monsters were defeated they turned into cards that could be used to summon them at a later time (No, I'm not getting it mixed up with Cardcaptors). There were also two wacky Jessie/James style villains.

As I said, my memory of this show is very patchy.

For some reason this got me thinking of Flint the Time Detective, but that's probably not the show you're thinking of lol

...I do wanna watch that now though.

I want to say 'Reboot' - because of the purple-ish black portal.

In the later episodes the kids grew up and it got REALLY dark.

Nope, definitely not Reboot.

I've checked through the list before and nothing familiar came up. To be fair I'm not 100% sure it aired on YTV, just everyone I've talked to about it seems to think that's the case.

Oh god, Reboot. The ultimate, "Jesus Redfield Christ, what the hell is happening I don't even" series. There was a guy and a kid and a girl and then VIRUSES and GAMES and SPIDER-SOFTWARE and then FUTURE CLONE CYBORGS and MORE VIRUSES and BLOCK PEOPLE and WAAGGGHHH.

Great for my childhood development.

OT: Gah, I vaguely remember the show. You'll have me up all night thinking about it.
