I was watching a feature on the making of the Fire Fly movie and in the middle of the show, a woman who had her two year old son with her the whole time, had him sing "You Can't Take the Sky from Me". I'm not really even that much into Fire Fly, that was just cute!

I used to work next to a zoo, and one of the perks was free admission, so I would sometimes go over there on my lunch hours. One spring afternoon, I noticed that all the eggs of the Canadian geese who had nested in the area over the last few weeks had all hatched, and little goslings were following their mothers around everywhere.

That was cute, but what was even cuter was the thing I noticed a few seconds later. I heard a splashing noise near my feet and looked down...there was one little gosling just running around and around in circles in a puddle, flapping his little wings, splashing water everywhere, and obviously just having a blast. It's still on my list of top ten cute things.

Whenever I hear little kids talking in the kind of babbling way they talk, I just go "aaawww" a little inside.

And My Neighbor Totoro is one of my favorite films of all time. I'm pretty much in the fetal position giggling to myself from start to finish every time I watch it. It's so wonderfully happy, benign and playful. But the 10-minute short film, Mei and the Kittenbus is just unbearably so. I'm so happy I caught the camrip on Youtube before it was removed.
