heh, most people in Halo 3 when i grab the sniper (mind you, am relatively good with it, not great but i do get a killing spree)

some people even have killed me to get such weapon, when that happens i just go to the other side of the map and grab the enemy sniper (or kill whoever´s got it... if he doesnt kill me first)

Then pick up a game like modern warfare or battlefield bad company (both of which are really cheap) won't get team killed for weapons in those games.

I didn't really like Modern Warfare online but I am going to give Modern Warfare 2 a good chance, I really, really want to like it
I've never tried battlefield though.
I do like Halo online, just the team killers are rampant

I guess when i was lower level in MW i would always grab the p90 when someone dropped it. Now since I have my own i don't use it much... ironic

I was having a little session of ODST the other day because a friend of a friend had just gotten it and he insisted we all do the campaign. This guy apparently has a hard on for the sniper rifles and cannot physically play unless he has a sniper rifle. So basically he just stood around bitching until we found him one at which point he died literally 10 seconds after he got and then bitched that the enemies were too hard and the game was unbalanced and it was shit and ragequit.

SERIOUSLY who needs a damn gun so fucking bad that they will claim the game is shit because said weapon does not kill a brute in one hit on legendary? Sorry I needed to get that out of my system.

However my friend insisted that this guy was the greatest thing since sliced bread and they both killed me every time I picked up the fucking thing so he could have it and subsequently die.

It has always amused me that people are called noobs for dual wielding pistols even when they do great with them.

OT: I have seen some team kills over the sniper rifle in my time.

I've often grabbed the "worst" weapon in the game, and yet, people get pissed at me.
It's one of those moments in gaming that make you say, "WTF"

The "bad" weapon I grab on Gears 2 is the gorgon pistol, and I get lots of kills with it, muahahaha.

I had a similar gig with the Halo 3 battle rifle. Yes, there are some knuckle draggers out there who don't seem to grasp that it's the original Halo pistol, ala God's Sidearm, in rifle form, but he'd always complain when I used it to drop 3 incoming enemies without trouble. Of course, he was terrile, but it'd take too long to explain the specifics of why in this particular case.

I was playing a game of COD5 and i picked up a PPsh (my fav weapon) that was on the floor next to a corpse. After getting the team around 10 points with it this guy with a mic screams at me, calling me a fagot and saying I should get my own weapon.

I get this occasionally in Gears 2 on Horde, but if someone's demonstrated that he/she's a better sniper, I'll happily drop it for them if I can. to be honest, I tend to get decent teammates on Gears (I don't play Halo for the above reasons) and I'm a versatile enough player that I can get just as many kills with a Bolter and a Lancer as I can with a Sniper.

Yeah, a lot of games have issues with weapon balancing, and this is the kind of thing that results. While I can admit to feeling a rush when I successfully kill someone in gears with a well-placed sniper shot, I get similar satisfaction with a good shotgun or chainsaw kill. I find most of the gears weapons, save the boomshot, to be well-balanced.

Is it just me, or do a lot of people get a little OVERLY edgy when you grab "their" weapon in a video game. I was playing Gears 2 the other day and low and behold, someone on our team ran right toward sniper. Not a big deal since we didn't know who was a good sniper, but a guy on our team thought otherwise. All the guy could do is ***** about how that sniper should have been his and how the noob shouldn't have grabbed it.

Although, I will admit that there are certain occasions where you don't want a teammate grabbing a certain weapon. If a teammate continuously grabs a sniper rifle and hasn't killed a person with the sniper, then I would rather someone else be using it.



Have you ever met a person who was overly sensitive about people grabbing "his/her" weapon?
Have you ever wanted to just smack the person upside the head when they continue to cause Epic Fail with a weapon?

one of my friends is like that, if u grab "his" weapon he makes a brand new game, I wonder how he is going to be in Borderlands tho, should b fun..... I hope

I had the same problem, i was playing left 4 dead and i was about to pick up a pipe bomb, my team mate blew my head off and over the intercom said MY BOMB. that guy needs to get a life.

I'm also pissed when someone picks Travex in DOTA...How dare you!?!?
