Recently as I skip around my Fantasy-Esque hometown of Maidenhead I hear all kinds of things. Namely being a few people's ramblings.

Usually, it's people talking about silly things happening, or silly ideas which are totally insane. Like riding a H-Bomb to spain; with the other person replying ''That's awesome!''

So my question to you today is:
Have you heard an idea, thought or totally out of place plan that you feel that people agree for the sake of it, and not because they think the idea is a good one or not.

It's probably people's sense of humor or it's just me. Like how some people say dinosaurs make everything more awesome. I feel some people just add these things in randomly to suit a small specified audience they're speaking to. But hey, just because it's a totally random idea it doesn't mean it's wrong. Many great things come from ideas as such.

And here is a side question, if you feel like answering it!
What is your 'totally awesome' / random plan?

Mine is to find a way to make flags give things the ability to fly. So hey.

My plan is to leave hints in history (I don't know how, I'm working on it) to show the people on the future how I lived, except I'll lie and say I led life as a Warrior Nomad or something epic like that, so in the future, people will worship me as a God and I will become immortalised.

I'm hope I'm not the only one who's noticed this new usage of the word 'awesome', when people use it to describe something that in reality is gobsmackingly lame. But now you've put me on the spot I can't think of any examples. Oh well.

For my awesome idea, I would get a hot dog, AND PUT DINOSAURS ON IT. TAHT WOULD B SO ORTSUM.

Or, they should but Pierce Brosnam in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

I'm sorry, one second... Your town is Maidenhead? I can't be the only person who got caught by this. Okay, now to read the rest of the thread...

First question. I agree all the time. It's to make the person shut up and to sit back and watch the fireworks. It's quite entertaining. Hell, worse case scenario (for me) is that they succeed.

Second question. I have ideas to turn super hero into a video game genre in and of itself as opposed to latching on to the action/adventure genre as it's done for years. I have a plan to make myself a published writer/artist of comics. I have a plan to live forever through my clones. Simple stuff, really.
