Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller books. They're ok, but but I have a couple of friends that talk about them as though they're the Most Holy Turds of Christ himself. They're pretentious, and the main character is an arrogant cock.

The Twilight series, but that's hardly a revolutionary topic in this thread. I tried reading them, I really did, just to see if all the hate was justified. Silly me for doubting.

Heath Ledger's Joker. That's not a smile. It doesn't even LOOK like one.

Aside from that... booze. Many people, including the people I work with (US Navy), insist booze makes life more fun. I don't believe it. I've tried booze of all kinds, and while it's okay every now and then when socializing, I don't care for the taste, nor do I care to get drunk. I can have a great time without inhibiting my brain, and to say you can't only shows how depressing an outlook you must have. You have to make yourself stupid to have fun? Come on.

CoD it's bland and the same game every year, you have the short and boring campaign, the stupid multiplayer with 0 dedicated servers and occasionally the zombies which is ok but not worth 70$ for plus 15$ per new map

1) You can take (almost) anything's soul with a soul gem and the soul trap spell, including people if you have the right kind.

2) You can only take dragon souls because you are the dragon-born. It's a special ability that goes with the title. Perhaps if you were the mudcrab born, you could take mudcrab souls, but you're not, so oh well.

If you're gonna complain that something is over-rated, have your complaints make sense first. You could've easily said the combat doesn't appeal to you, or the story, or just about anything else really and it would've worked.

I'm going to say that practically every single movie made by Stanley Kubrick was highly overrated. The ones that I've seen- 'The Shining', 'Full Metal Jacket', 'Barry Lyndon' and 'A Clockwork Orange'- have been exceedingly long and boring. Each one mentioned could have lost about half an hour, or more, of footage and still have been good movies.

Sadly "Inception" is still listed as being "The Best Movie Ever", whereas I found it to be more over-rated than "Avatar".

Oh, and moving in the same vein of "Inception", Leonardo diCaprio is an amazingly over-rated and actually mediocre actor.
