The 2009 Exam thread (GCSE, A-Level etc...)

So, it seems its exam time. I though I'd make a thread in case loads start popping up.

Vent here after the exams, complain, gloat, whatever!

50% of Maths: Done!

33% of English: Done!

25% of Science: Done!

And, for those who do German, after tomorrow morning its over! I sure as hell won't be glad to see the back of that subject and my teacher.

And a Physics AS.

Maths: 50% done - easy
English Lit: 100% done - huzzah!
English Lang: 0% done - crapping myself
AS Physics: 50% - did badly
German: 3 exams left - not lookign forward to it
History: 0% done - feeling confident
Graphic Design - 0% done - felling confident

The percentages are of exam work, not coursework.

I just totally failed my physics A/s level....

also, for people doing german, or any language really. if you have a nice teacher you have a way better chance of passing, mine paused the tape and let me think for a minute everytime i got stuck =D i managed to scrape a C

33% English done. ( or if you break it down into chunks: 100% Lit, 0% Lang)

And no more exams till 1st June. Yay revision!

I have 2 physics, and a maths final on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. Then I am done for the summer. I need to start revising though.

Science 33% done (I've finished Biology still got Chemistry and Physics to go)

I just totally failed my physics A/s level....

I finished 6[sup]th[/sup] form in '07 but you cannot beat this...

I won't tell you my score but when I retook the (physics) A/s test I doubled my first score and still failed.

In my defense I only went to 6[sup]th[/sup] form to do Biology (which I passed well). Physics just happened to be a filler lesson as it were.

Oh, mine laughed at one guy's accent for a couple of minute half way through the oral. He had to stop the tape for it. Needless to say, that guy was pissed.

That's a shame, there were only 5 of us in the class, the only reason they ran it was because our school's hideously over staffed.

That's a shame, there were only 5 of us in the class, the only reason they ran it was because our school's hideously over staffed.

I was told if we had the extra staff about it would've run, just for me. My next choice of Art GCSE (in a year - did science early) was ripped apart too because again, only I wanted to do it. So, Physics it was and I've failed that spectacularly.

Chemistry Units 1+2 - Not done, don't care how I do as I'm dropping it regardless =]
Biology Units 1+2 - Not done, should be alrighty if I start bloody revising
History - Again, if I revise, I should do alright

AS level Business And ICT done dead easy, just history to go but pretty confident as I'v gotten A/B's throughout all mocks just got the last couple of weeks to revise.

I should really be revising for German, but I just cba.

I just want to get GCSEs over with, apparently A levels are much more interesting, for example in history you do less pointless essays and spend more time arguing with each other. Which sounds fun.
