Hard to chose but here goes :

5 Best :

Reservoir Dogs - brilliant and that is all, you really need to see it to appreciate the genius

The Bourne Ultimatum - great action/spy movie

V for Vendeta - really surprised by it, great writing and acting, nice plot

The Dark Knight - great action and marvelous joker

Die Hard - basically redefined the action genre when it came out and to this day it still is one of the best if not the very best action movie

5 Worst :

Starship Troopers 3 - the first one wasn't a great movie but it was entertaining, second one took everything that made the first one good and threw it in the garbage but it still had its moments, this however is pure garbage

Batman and Robin - need I say more ?

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation - the first one was bad, but this ? .. I still have nightmares about it

Battlefield Earth - just dumb, bad writing, bad acting, stupid

Junior - this movie has left me scared for life, Arnold should have never stared in this
Yay, someone else picked Die Hard.

Fucking hell is that film bad.
For once we agree; atleast with the "worst" part

Do we often disagree, then? Cos if so, we should celebrate this momentous occasion of our agreeing somehow.

Can't think of five on the spot, but Spider-Man 2 is easily in my top 5, and Spider-Man 3 in the bottom 5.

Best:
Memento (I will never stop praising this movie, EVER!)
Pi (very cool movie, not much else to explain)
American Beauty (I rule! *raises fist)
Requiem for a Dream (most depressing movie i've ever seen, but damn is it good)
Fight Club (i'm a guy, it's almost a requirement by this point..)

Worst:
The Spirit (awful, Sam Jackson couldn't even make this movie passable)
UltraViolet (yep, another hater of this movie. i had to take a break after 20 min due to ridiculousness)
The Happening (wow, just wow. dumbest shit ever)
Babel (my god this movie was long and boring)
The Fountain (visually one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen, no other redeeming qualities though)

Best:

The Shawshank Redemption - One of the greatest all round films I've ever seen. Everything about it was masterfully done.
Rounders - I'm somewhat of a poker fiend so........
The Usual Suspects - Keeps you guessing right until the very end, has one of the most memorable twists that I have ever seen and I love Kevin Spacey.
American Beauty - Another Kevin Spacey film that is outstanding. You gotta love the cynicism of him in this!
Fight Club - I don't think this really needs an explanation.

Honourable mention goes to Memento - One of the most interesting ideas for a film I've seen. If you havn't seen it, the entire thing is shown in reverse basically. And it's excellent.

Worst:

The Producers - The second films I've ever walked out of in the cinema.
Coyote Ugly - The first film I ever walked out of in the cinema.
Epic Movie and all films of that nature, Meet The Spartans, etc. - Irritating knockoffs of films such as Scary Movie which were at least somewhat funny.

I can't think of any other films I've watched that I really disliked.
High Five for great taste.

Best
25th Hour
Lord of war
Fight club
Yes Man - one of Jim Careys best performances and not forgetting Zooey Deschanel
Se7en

Worst
Any Steven Segal/Jean Claude Van damme film purely because of the crate of acting skill that clearly didnt arrive on time (damn you UPS)

Any pokemon movie after the first one

Cloverfield purely because of the whiney b*tch also known as my ex who was present at the time

Alien Versus Predator:Requiem - considering the movie had 5 endings, they were all pretty crap

Pirates of the Caribbean:At worlds end - did anybody else find themselves counting the amount of windows on the Galleon to see if it was historically accurate?

i obviously woulve put twilight and new moon down, but luckily they have never disgraced my eyes

other worthy entries - street fighter and legend of chun li, Dragon ball, and quite obviously - one night in paris :p
