So, it's my mums 50th in a week, and she's having an 80's party. It's my job to create a slideshow of 80's stuff. Trouble is, I don't know what that stuff is. So, a message to the older members, what do you associate with the 80's?

Because without that song, the eighties might as well have not existed at all.

I associate the 80's with Goth culture as that's when it more or less began.

Seeing as it is not a widely known thing then it would probably not fit in with what your Mum had in mind.
