I mostly miss the first 4 years of the 90s. Media sure went downhill in 1998.
MTV not sucking.
Disney not sucking quite as hard.
Nickelodeon not sucking.
VH1 still had Pop-Up Video.
Cartoons for adults on USA & MTV.
Claymation.
Sitcoms.
Road Rules was the ONLY reality show.
Celebrities I didn't hate.
Celebrities were less retarded & skanky.
Vincent Price was still alive.
Cartoons were better.
Cartoons based on video games & comic books.
Music was worth listening to.
Movies were worth paying to see at theaters.
Lack of a worldwide economic crisis.
90s prices.
You could get away withnot knowing who the president was, because no one else cared.
Micheal Jackson's lovely unbotched face, even if I thought he was a Latino woman.
Actually wanting to leave the house & do active things.
Anne Rice still had tallent.
When musicians remade old songs, they didn't suck.
Movie remakes weren't all the rage.
Girlscouts came to your door instead of making you find them.
The government wasn't tapping our phones, computers, printers, or mail.
Concervative republicans were far less annoying.
You didn't have to worry about being sued on a technicality.
It was easier to get away with stuff.
Comedies on BBC in the late 90s.
Animation on Showtime, like Secrets of Treasure Island.
The commercials.
Catchier video game music.
Being able to buy comic books in grocery stores & gas stations.
Roller skating rinks with huge gameing arcades.
Cell animation.
Anime was less cliche & less people knew about it.
Games with 2D graphics.

The Batman Animated Series.
To this day, Mark Hamill's Joker voice is the one I imagine when I read the comics.
Oh, ditto!
