1. Aero can conjure it directly. Hydro can summons storm and have lightning as an aftereffect.

2. There will be a general plot, but alot of messing around at first as we all get acquainted.

3. Yes?

Name: Drew Kyarra

Age: 22
Gender: Male
Mastery: AeroMaster
Rank: Magae.

Appearance: Pale, even by most standards. At 5'8, he's not that tall, and he's just a little bit chubby, at least compared to the average attendant at the academy. He has messy brown hair, almost never kept straight, a little, fuzzy mustache and beard, and blue eyes, which are half shut most of the time. He tends to slouch, making him seem shorter than he is.

Drew's cream robe look closer to a poncho, with a few dark blue streaks at the sleeves.

Demeanor: Self-serving, always looking to do the least work for the most results, but is more than happy to just do the bare minimum unless he really cares about the work.

History: His background wasn't really that spectacular, born to merchant and trader parents, keeping him in a well-provided childhood. He was enrolled to the academy after he and his sister were caught arcing lightning bolts between their fingertips. His sister had enrolled as well, and he spends most of his time with her. Drew was more content to just drift his way through with the least amount of work he could. He went on, just trying to keep his life simple. Nobody knows where he got the motivation to get up to Magea rank, but lightning has yet to strike twice, apparently...

Name: Nydia Freecs

Age:27

Gender:Female

Mastery: Lumenomancer

Rank: Magae

Appearance: Nydia is of about an average build at about 5"8 and 120 pounds. She has long light blonde hair that extends past her shoulders and bright blue eyes. She hasn't modified her white robe in any way and she wears a white mask to match it. Since she has to wear glasses her mask has been fitted with lenses in the eye holes so she can see well while wearing it.

Demeanor: Nydia is a bright and inquisitive person. She can be friendly when interacting with others, but often chooses to spend time by herself.

History: Nydia came from one of the lesser noble families so she has decent standing among other nobles, yet is not so stuck up as to look down on commoners. Her thirst for knowledge led her to be quite successful at the academy. Her hard work and studies have earned her incredible healing abilities, even by Lumenomaster's standards and her combat abilities are above average as well. Because of this she helps out in the infirmary when needed, but these days she spends most of her time in the library.

Name: Aden Ignaeus

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Mastery: Pyromancy

Rank: Artist

Appearance: Aden seems to be physically fit, and has pale, almost ashen skin. Beyond his blank gray eyes though, little of his facial features. He conceals them under his Mask [http://www.junkdrawerblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/comedy_mask.jpg],
his hair and the sides of his face concealed under the hood of his robes. The robes are heavily decorated, covered in arcane symbols in silver. The rest of the robe is a deep crimson, while the trim is gold.

Demeanor: Aden is cold, detached, and creepy, although as far as anyone can tell, he has the Academy's interests at heart.

History: Aden does not recall his past prior to the Academy, not that there is a great deal -to- recall, having been handed to the Academy before the age of two. His family, House Ignaeus, has bred a series of Pyromancers going back for decades, and Aden was the next one who proved apt.

In his studies, Aden proved exceptional in his skill, but also far more detached than his fellow students. After creating his mask, Aden has -never- been seen to remove it in public. He eats with it on, sleeps with it on, and even fights with it on.

Since his graduation fourteen years ago, Aden has proven himself a valuable and skilled Pyromancer, and is believed by some to be a notable candidate for the next Master Pyromancer.

Name: Fei Kyarra

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Mastery: Hydromaster

Rank: Aethling

Appearance: Fei has pale skin, which contrasts a lot with her jet black pigtails. She stands at an embarassing 4'10", and is always trying things to make herself seem taller.By some standards she's simply cute, her big blue eyes full of wonder and innocence. She does wear a mask sometimes for fun, when she remembers. Since she's only an Aethling she doesn't have an official one.
Her robe is light blue with dark waves on it.

Demeanor: Shy when it comes to strangers and older mages. Since she was accepted into the Academy when she was still young, she retains the 'normal' habits of a child, chasing after candy and dolls despite her age. She's fiercely loyal to her friends, but they need to be in a lot of danger for her to resist running for safety at the hint of danger.

History: Her parents doubted her powers, thinking that it was only her brother that summoned the lightning and perhaps let her play with it. They finally let her follow her brother to the academy after she begged them for months. Not thinking that she would pass the Attuning, they let her apply. Unfortunately, she had enough power to cause a globe to light up, much to their dismay. To her disappointment, it was the Hydro globe and not the Aero globe that lit. Fei studies and practices hard, hoping to make her teachers and family proud. She worships the ground Drew walks on, maybe to a fault.

Name: Gareth Tethmas

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Mastery: Hydromastery

Rank: Magae

Appearance: Heavier in build than many of his peers, Gareth would be most aptly described as "broad". His shoulder span is a good deal wider than average; a trait which, when combined his bulky torso and tree-trunk legs, make him look more suited to physical toil than the mental rigors that magi must endure. He stands at just over six feet, the top of his head adorned with a dark mop of curls that, when free, hang around his shoulders, though normally he wears them tied back somewhat haphazardly behind his head. He is of a bronze complexion and a very intense expression, with eyes of a colour that is closer to that of chocolate than anything else. His robes are actually made up of two layers, though the main robe is navy blue in colour, his sleeves, belt-sash, and leggings are all lighter blue. His mask is simple, little more than a blue-tinged metallic fitting for his face with wide-enough slits for the eyes, nostrils, and mouth; fixed with a permanently neutral expression and fastened to his head by the means of several straps and buckles.

Demeanor: Gareth has always felt like a bit of an outsider amongst the other Magi at the academy. He has his share of friends, but has never really embraced his role as a Hydromaster, mostly because he was plagued with difficulties throughout his apprenticeship. Chief among these difficulties was his lack of control over his substantial power, which led to him moving through the ranks slower than most. Through careful meditation and extra-curricular tutelage he's managed to reach a higher level of focus, but using his abilities on a large scale is still trying for him. When he loses control it can prove disastrous, however composed and level-headed he may appear outwardly.

History: Growing up in the Academy, Gareth was often teased, called "accident-prone" for his shoddy command of the forces of magic, and as a result he felt shunned by most of the other students of Water. It was only through the intervention of one highly-regarded Artist-rank Watermaster by the name of Dumar that he was able to graduate, as the more experienced man went out of his way to tutor the young boy, and vouches constantly to the other Artists of Water (as well as the Master Artist) for Gareth, claiming that the boy has tremendous potential.

Hmmm
I would have liked to apply because I Have a character sheet That I hoped I could use.
However upon further inspection my character wouldn't fit
You see My character's specialty is hellfire, because he's part Devil.
Also my Character didn't need to be instructed the magic was in his blood, Which is why he can use such raw power
and finally he's 18.

@Viking Incognito: Just look at the sheets I've accepted from other players. Trying to turn aeromastery into a martial art is kind of a wasted effort. First off, Aero's aren't even warmages, though they can be helpful, no one would specialize in that. Even if they did, trying to blend martial arts and magic, while good on a nominal level would be pretty inefffective when a skilled Pyro/LUmo/Nocto would all smite you while you were still a hundred feet away.

Wizards are somewhat subtle creatures at heart, and there's nothing subtle as Bruce Lee. If you can revamp the history and such to put it on par with your peers and maybe make him a fire mage (Who might actually think of blending martial arts with magic), then I could see accepting it. For now, no.

@Orinon You posted in my thread to say you wouldn't post in my thread? And did you even READ the OP? What demon blood? There aren't any demons. And you wouldn't be above an aethling at 18 no matter what you could do. It just wouldn't happen. Magic's not just about power, it's about maturity and knowing what to use it for. 18 year old kinda wouldn't have that, sorry.

I finally arrive back at the escapist and what do i find? What seems to be the very thing i was looking for before my internet connection was uncerimoniusly taken. That said, i see a worrying amount of people submitted in here so i have to ask:

Is there enough room for me to join?

@Viking Incognito Read it outloud, fix the errors you see. Few spelling and grammar errors. Move your rank down to Magae, and add in that he is soon testing for weaver rank. How you Roleplay through that will determine whether you get it or not. 25 is very young for that.

Okay, I'll get on that now.

EDIT: Done. 2 questions, what is the level of technology here? Why is it called Academy of Intrigue?

@Viking Incognito Midieval level technology. Why would you develop more when you had a world full of magic?

And seriously. It's an academy full of wizards. What but intrigue would there be?
