Some of you may remember that earlier in the year England won the most important cricketing trophy in the world in a series against Australia. Due to the Olympics, that same series has been played twice this year, with the final game being played now in Australia. This time it was the Aussies who have reclaimed the Ashes after years of them being in Pommy hands. The series is currently 4 games to 0 in Australia's favour. In the first innings of the final test Australia made 326 after being 5/96 thanks to brilliant batting from Smith and Haddin. England is currently 4/22.

Looks like a whitewash is well and truly on the cards! It's only been done a few times before.

How come Australia gets to have such fun with the father country? I guess cricket never caught on in Western Canada and I'm not sure how popular it is these days over in the East...

We kind of paid them out when they first lost to us so now it's like a fight for honour that happens every few years.

Let's make that 5/23 after Bell edged one straight to Haddin.
