Giving respect entails getting respect usually. While conceding is a great way to gain respect, that is usually post-debate. Whenever a discussion comes up always listen to both sides, use non inflammatory language, and submit your ideas from a place of understanding or supportive thought. That almost always makes for a perfectly civil debate. I try my best to post in that way, and it makes avoiding huge fights or anger easier.

1. I noticed the majority of repeat posters are from before 2013, was there a huge rush back then, would you consider that the "Golden Days"?
2. What was the group dynamic of this forum like before the Gamergates and exposed Games Industry foul play? This probably gets asked a lot but I never saw it.
