The Avatar Appreciation Thread

As a few of you may have noticed, I have a new avatar. It is awesome and I think I'll leave it like this for a long time.

Now, I didn't make this thread because the word Avatar generates a lot of responses here, I made it so we can thank and promote the Avatar Store on the Escapist.

I didn't know about its existence for quite some time but I can assure you that if you visit it you will find some avatars for you account that are much more interesting than the defaults.

While we are here, why not give thanks to someone who made a custom avatar for you?

I just checked out the Store, and I am amazed by the amount of neat gifs they have. Bravo I must say.

I'd like to thank that guy/girl somewhere on the internet who made this hypnotoad.gif that I found somewhere on the internet that I can't remember and doesn't know I used it for my avatar. I'd also like to thank them posthumously, if they are dead.

I just took a screenie from the ending of Drakengard and shrunk it down to size. Caim's awesome, but this is one of the few times he doesn't look psychotic and blood thirsty. I tried to pick an image like that to use, but they didn't look very good small. :/ That's ok, though. Nice Caim's good too.

Exactly. Some want Pokemon, some want birthday ferrets with balloons. Personally, I prefer the latter.

Well, I don't want to bother the people at the Avatar store so I've been trying to make my own animated Avatar using Adobe Flash Trial. Having failed, I tried GIMP. Then I failed again as I understand nothing. So then I thought "Maybe PowerPoint can?" Then I thought "I don't have Powerpoint and how would that help?" Then I had some pie because SOMEONE ate the cake.

Calumon: But it was so yummy!

Jack: I appreciate that Google had this image. I like it and I am glad that someone on the Asylum made me this Avatar. I've been searching through my inbox but I can't find out who! I think it was SnootyEnglishman but I'm not sure! I'm sorry if it's not.
