Me - I work a full time job and pay my taxes. I obey the law. I'm pleasant to people, even strangers. I hold doors open for women. I like puppies. From what I gather from the users of this site, a high percentage will hold the same sort of values.

Chavs - Probably violent, probably carrying a knife. Swagger about like they own the place, even though their ASBO says they shouldn't be in that place. Generally out of work and claiming any benefits they can (which my taxes are paying for). No respect for anyone. Loutish. I.Q of a peanut. Probably a father (because birth control is pointless in their world).

What makes you think I was trying to insult you? It was just a sardonic remark regarding the current state of things, that's all. Because you have to admit, there's quite the proliferation going on regarding what's "awesome", "epic" and "win". Hence my remark.

So it's nothing against you in particular. As for my spelling:

1. Despite the fact that im rather good at english in general, it's not my native tounge and for the most part of my days I have to pay respects to a completely different set of spelling and grammatical rules than the english ones, explaining why certain slip-ups tend to sneak in.

2. I noticed the spelling like a second after I posted the message in question but I just can't be bothered to rectify such things on a messageboard. It's not like im writing an essay in language or anything, thus my priority in regards to making sure that every single post is fully spell-checked tends to be quite low. If you can't live with that and have trouble understanding what it is im writing, then tough shit. I don't really feel a pressing urge to change my habits just so you'll find me compliant, as im quite sure you can understand. (I wouldn't expect you to do it had the situation been reversed)

In any case, it wasn't meant as an insult to begin with so there's no need to get snippy. But as a sidenote: im quite sure you wouldn't have stooped to the level of remarking upon spelling if you hadn't interpreted it as an insult would you?
