I was motivated to go to college for pre-med because I want to be an oncologist. I did an internship for at a hospital during high school and thought that it was really interesting. No pain involved!

Because I was good at biology, and medicine seemed like something that might be fun.

Darling, if you're trying to bring me down, it won't work. I am a happy person. Sure I've got things I worry about. Sure there are some things that I was motivated to do because of some kind of pain. But that's not up for debate. My choice to go into pre-med had nothing to do with a painful experience. It was all due to positive reinforcement.

Now, studying really hard for calculus on the other hand?
