Eumersian, still a bit suspicious of the Lady, begins to walk towards the door to the wine cellar. He almost lets go of her hand, in a flash of doubt, but decides to continue. The two walk to the door. Eumersian tries to open it, but it appears to be locked.
"You wouldn't happen to have a key on your person?" he asks to Lady Fallingstar.

She let go of Eumersian's hand and reached up to her neck. Moving her hair to the side, she revealed a key around her neck. She unhooked the chain and handed it to Eumersian.

Eumersian opens the lock, revealing a dark stone staircase. Eumersian sees a torch on the wall. He reaches into his sporran and retrieves a match. He lights the torch and turns to Nikki, grasping her hand caringly once again.Nikki Fallingstar said:

They begin to walk down the staircase, Eumersian hoping only to find wine, and no abominations of Lady Fallingstar's creation.

Nikki blushed slightly. She decided to position herself closer to Eumersian.Eumersian said:

Eumersian doesn't notice anything strange, choosing to believe that those sounds are either coming from the outside or are various creaks caused by the movement of the servants upstairs. Eumersian, still leading Lady Fallingstar down to the wine cellar, is becoming lightheaded at the thought of the Lady's possible plans for him. He chooses to ignore them. She has never shown any ill intentions in the past.Nikki Fallingstar said:

The growling continued until the last few stairs. When the torchlight illuminated the room, it was a apparent what the growls were, six rather large Jackals were chained to the walls of the small room. Behind them lay another door.
Nikki giggled once again.
"All we have to do it get by them. Don't worry, they're sweet."
This last statement didn't stop the jackals from barring their teeth. Each one stood at nearly three feet tall at the shoulders and had both ears pierced several time over.
They were positioned three on each wall in a line.
"Come on!" She began walking towards them as the growls reach a roar.
Eumersian is awestruck. Unnerved by the jackals, he reaches down to his right sock for his sgian-dubh. His head snaps back forward, remembering that he left it upstairs in the front hall. He certainly wouldn't disrespect the Lady by running to get it. She might unleash something horrible upon him. He decides to stand stoic, not ready to stab anything today.Nikki Fallingstar said:
