Beatles for Half life.

Just replace Maxwell's hammer for a crowbar.
... See, now I have to go and replay Half-Life with Beatle's tracks on.

I could totally see G-man singing "I am the Walrus"
Totally! Especially during the trippy scene with the vortagons. I still have no clue what he's getting at with "We'll just see about that"

For some odd reason, I seem to link The Beatles and "Rock Band: Beatles" together... Hmmm... [/smartass]

I'm surprised no one has said Bad Company for, um, Bad Company
What about Bad Religion for "The Bible Game"?
I guess. I just meant the band Bad Company for the game Bad Company (or Battlefield: Bad Company, whatever)

Ill Bill and Max Calevra - War is My Destiny, over a decent hack n slash game. The song and lyrics fit the bill for most HnS games, as it's a revenge story.

Failing that, one of my favourite games of all time is Freedom Fighters, so I guess Rage Against The Machine and their themes fit that game pretty well. Either them or Immortal Technique.

I find Death Metal and any hack n'slash to be great. But I use it in everything.

This is good too:

For some reason, the second time I watched the ending of CoD 4 where everyone's being gunned down in slow motion, all I could think about was The Day The World Went Away by Nine Inch Nails.

Early Sunsets Over Monroeville by My Chemical Romance goes well with Dead Rising. Helps that it's based on Dawn of the Dead I guess.

A Perfect Circle's cover of Imagine fits strangely well with Fallout 3, although it does tend to make the game a little depressing.

Cannibal Corpse works well with Harvest Moon, nothing like hearing Entrails Ripped From a Virgin's **** when you're milking cows.
You just made me a very happy person. I needed a laugh, thank you.

Also, I would say that whoever chose the music for Fallout 3 should be given a million promotions because I would much rather listen to the in-game music than my own for that game.

Maserati's album "Inventions For the New Season"seems like it would make a great soundtrack for an open world action game since it's got a great variety of intense as well as serene tracks that each have a different theme.

Iron Maiden covers most WW2 games in my opinion.
I've never really heard Iron Maiden, but it seems inappropriate to associate heavy metal with WW2...

Oh wait! WW2 games! silly me. Yeah, that's alright. sorry.
Iron Maiden has a few songs such as "The Trooper" based around WWII.

I really like to listen to Darkest Hour while playing any action game like Max Payne or Prototype.
The trooper isn't about world war 2...Aces high, however, is.
The Trooper is about the Battle of Balaclava. Aces High and a bunch of other Maiden's songs are about WW2 and a very respectful aswell. Listen to them before you judge them.

Pyscronauts and TV's Kyle's "Why Not?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl-kp8TaWR4 is one I can think of though I may be wrong here.

Any side scrolling shooter would match Anamanaguchi. Galiga would is so much better with them playing. Really is a perfect match there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHmYC8a_4cI

Evil Walks by ACDC would match Prototype or Overlord. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtmgHKAwxM0

Left 4 Dead with Magic Chicken! by the Aquabats works so well and makes dieing so funny. I know something isn't right that I enjoy the two there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcSlfwxVMTE

Push the Button by Teapacks for Too Human. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei4zlCbquoY

Gears of War, KOTOR, and Fallout 3 the perfect song would be Always Look on the Bright Side of life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ

Indigo Prophecy, and all of the Final Fantasy series would be Little Less Commotion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANteNi4Knk4

The Monkey Island series I would have to go with I believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRYNYb30nxU The humor is there even though it is taking itself seriously.

You're No Good by Val Halen for Fable 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bzmDFznVCM As good as it may be, it still no good.

Stubbs the Zombie in "Rebel Without a Pulse" the perfect song for it would be Spinal Tap We're Going To Rock You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySIMlfLQUe4

I may be wrong on some, but this is just my opinion.

Why did you quote me on that :S
Obviously I'm a maiden fan, why else would I bother correcting peoples misinterpretations of their songs...I don't need to be told to listen to them.
