As you can surely tell by my username and avatar, I am a fan of the Beatles. This is a thread to discuss every thing Beatles: favourite albums/songs, the new Rock Band game, members of the group, whatever...

My favourite Beatles album is either Abbey Road or Revolver, and I'm favouring Pauls songs the most at the moment

My vote must go to 'I Am the Walrus' for it's random lyrics. It's strangely good, in its creepy Beatle way.

You know 3 of my favourite beatles songs are sung by Ringo actually. Of course i do favour Pauls voice in most songs, John definitely had more of a rock and roll voice. Also i have Abbey Road, Let it be, and Sgt Peppers in vinyl stashed somewhere deep underground in a climate controled bunker.
What are the songs in question?

"honey dont" (a cover, original written by Carl Perkins) is my absolute favourite one where Ringo sings, "with a little help from my friends", and "dont pass me by".
'Don't Pass Me By' is an underrated Ringo tune. 'Good Night' is also a nice one

So many great songs...

I Am the Walrus, A Day in the Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, or Octopus Garden, they're all good!

I have been listening to a lot of Beatles this past week.
A few must listens:
Something
Glass Onion
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
Across the Universe
Norwegian Wood

Way too many to list. My fav album at the moment is Abbey Road, but was Sgt Peppers for quite a while.

In my opinion the beatles are quite boring and overly hyped. Maybe I was just born in the wrong time period.

My favorites are "I am the Walrus", "Eleanor Rigby" and "Here there and Everywhere", although most of the songs are great. It's actually interesting to consider how little "dead wood" the Beatles wrote; most of their songs are amazing.

I Want You is probably one of the most kick ass songs of their Abbey Road album.

And there's nothing wrong with Sun King if you listen to it while the sun is rising. lolz

I know what you mean, Ringo is so underrated! Still, John WAS the wheels of the wagon.
