If I were to end up in the U.S. on travels, hit me up with the ONE beer in your opinion I've gotta dial before I leave :)

Goldspur, a Lager brewed for The Hop In Brew in Calgary by Alleykatt Breweries. It tastes like a smooth pear cider with the full bodyness of a good beer. It got a fruity flavor but is never too sweet and it's the most brilliant beer I've ever had. That and Pumphouse's Blueberry Ale is also a great brew.

I can't say I've heard anything by the name of Sleemans. What country are you from? I'm from England but I can't say I've seen anything going by that name down South.
they are canadian, specifically from ontario. the funny part is the original owner's house is now a strip joint AND a historic site

for me it's sleeman honey brown or guiness, tho boddingtons and tennants is pretty good
Mmmmm... Sleeman's Honey Brown is my Go To Beer, when I'm not going to The Hop In Brew for the best beer in the world.

Also, Leff is REALLY good (German or French, not sure, only found it in Europe) I also had this incredible beer in Amsterdamme which I cannot remember for the life of me what it was called, it was either Dutch or German.

EDIT: It was called Hertog Jan, I just remembered.

Just got back from a large beer store here in Seattle. I picked up some Strongbows, and a few other beers I have never tried before. They have a lot of different beers from around the world, so if anyone has some recommendations please send them my way.
