'Cause you never know, where you're gonna go.

It's a fantastic, groundbreaking, genre-refining album.

I could offer a shitload of others, but I'll settle with :

Aww dude, that's a hard question, that's like asking what's the best chocolate bar of all time (Curly Whirly btw).

I've got to go with either:

Well if we're allowed two then:

Radiohead - In Rainbows

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

I can't decide which I like more anyway.
Here's a mindfuck for you.

If you take the songs from Ok Computer and mesh them with the songs from In Rainbows like this:
1.OK
1.IN
2.OK
2.IN
3.OK
3.IN
etc.

Mesh the songs like that and put a ten second crossfade between tracks, EVERY SONG MELDS TOGETHER PERFECTLY.
It's all part of the 10 conspiracy of Radiohead. 10 years between the two albums, 10 second crossfade, 10 letters in each album name etc.

Holy God!

I totally never expected to be ninja'd on mentioning Andy Wood - You've totally made my day.
Mother Love Bone's 'Apple' for me though.

n.b. Looking forward to the Andy Wood DVD coming out in March!!!
There's a DVD coming out?!
And Apple (and Shine) is a truly brilliant work of art. I think I lean towards more sad music, which is why Temple edges it (as well as Hunger Strike. Cornell and Vedder together is almost unbeatable) but whenever I'm in the mood for something energetic and funny, it's Mother Love Bone every time. It's like musical comedy, without resorting to stuff like Tenacious D thats trying to be funny. Andrew Wood just is.

Hello escapists! Whats your favorite album of all time?

Emilie Autumn fans unite!

This is one of my choices as well.

Others!

These come to mind first. I'll likely edit at some point to add.

I'd probably go with Pet Sounds as the best album of all time, but Sgt. Peppers is considered by many to be its equal or even superior. If it were purely a question of the best rock album that had the most to offer, though, I'd say Exile on Main St.

Hmm...well, my answer will be different but I guess I can throw ya a bone.

Now, back to my regularly scheduled drooling over Adam Gontier.
The later is a really good album! OT: This! Avenged Sevenfold by Avenged Sevenfold....their masterpiece!
