Every song on that album is a Heavy Metal masterpiece. You've got twin guitar leads, duels, squeals, tapping, Halford's incredible falsetto, screams, growling even... Yeah. It has it all.
God I love this album...

It's a tossup between The Joshua Tree, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, All That You Can't Leave Behind, Achtung Baby and The Unforgettable Fire.

U2 is awesome.

21st Century Breakdown, about running away from all the bullshit that gets shoveled down our throats on an hourly basis. It doesn't take a side, it just says SHUT THE FUCK UP I NEED SOME TIME TO THINK!!! and it does it perfectly.

Frances the Mute by The Mars Volta
Always nice to see a fellow volta fan \m/

While Frances was a stellar album, I think their debut Deloused in the Comatorium had much greater effect on me. All their other albums get an honourable mention =p

It's hard to say if it counts, since it's just a collection of their best songs, but I'll count it.

One, by The Beatles. All you could ever want in one CD.
