Even though they broke up a few months ago, Too Pregnant To Party....Fucking awesome ass band, I saw them live no fewer than 4 times and enjoyed it every time
Yeah, I was about 25 meters from the stage and at Voodoo Fest they usually have two big stages about 200-250 meters apart, but the headliners play alone. From that other stage, all the way up was packed and at one point I looked up at the megatron and it looked like the audience was on fire because of all the people begging for an encore with lighters.dragonslayer32 said:I went so see Rage a few weeks ago. they had 100,000 people chanting "fuck Simon Cowell". It was epic.Najos said:Toss up between Rage Against the Machine about three years ago in New Orleans for Voodoo Fest and The Roots in D.C. about six years ago. They were both awesome for completely different reasons. Rage I was really excited for because they had just reformed. The Roots, well, I had no fucking idea who they were and I went to this thing to see Jane's Addiction (who sucked balls live) and they stole the show.
Edit: Oh, and maybe NIN, but only because the light show was insane. That was Voodoo Fest again, two years ago, I think?
Canberra, Australia.Tipsy Giant said:That was it,the HAARP show. It was amazing but the proggy brilliance of Mars Volta beat them, just.Angerwing said:We should be friends. I saw Muse at the same music festival, and I'm seeing them again at their concert in Brisbane later this year. Muse are actually my favourite band.Tipsy Giant said:Mars Volta were the best (It was in an open topped courtyard in london whilst the sun was setting)Angerwing said:Definitely The Mars Volta. Their lead is one crazy bastard.
Closely followed by Muse at Wembley
And if by Muse at Wembley, you mean this concert:
I am completely envious of you.
The only band that could try and win the top spot now are Boris and unfortunately they rarely play the uk.
Where do you live mate?

I saw them both at Big Day Out in Melbourne, which is one of our biggest music festivals. 12 hours of just jamming out.
