I'm particularly fond of the Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3. It had some of my favorite moments from all of Fallout 3.

I loved Shivering Isles. The only thing is, I liked Broken Steel a little bit more since it's the only way to extend game-play past the end of the main game's narrative. I also really liked Lair of the Shadow Broker but wish it could have lead Liara to stick around.
I hate the price gouging that is DLC.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that 1 hour of content for $10 is justified because of what $10.00 could normally buy you in real life. I'm stuck in the past thinking that 1 hour of content for 1/6th the cost of the total game (which contains 40+ hours) is a rip off.
That said, there is only one exception I've found where DLC was totally worth it:
Defense Grid: You Monster DLC - For $5.00 this DLC essentially added double the content and replayability to the game. It not only gave me reason to return to the title, but also to invest nearly as much time as I had when I first bought it.

Speaking of Mass Effect DLC, and since no one has mentioned it yet, I really enjoyed Bring Down the Sky. It had a cool story that ties in nicely to the series and, more importantly, it introduces the Batarians! =D

Oh fine, I'll be serious. I will agree with everyone who has said Lair of the Shadow Broker. Playing through that was the first time I actually felt like games had become more than 'just games', and were actually interactive entertainment worthy of a respect and popularity that can be placed alongside cinema, literature and, uh, whatever else might take your fancy. If for no other reason than the performances.
Borderlands I will agree with, some of the Dragon Age stuff (I quite liked Darkspawn Chronicles, it was something fun and different, and better than lame zombie DLC), and Kingdoms of Amalur offered a meaty DLC. As long as its rich in content and takes longer to get through than it takes to load, I'm happy with it.

We might gripe about DLC every other day, but the fact is there's some pretty good stuff, out there. My personal favorites would have to be Oblivion's Shivering Isles expack; Old World Blues for New Vegas, Lair of the Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2 and, well, every single DLC released for Borderlands.
I know it's not paid-for, but I consider that Valve's Space Core ESP for Skyrim counts, too. I just wish it came with more random comments shoehorning SPAAAAACE in the middle of a comment about giants or dragons or bandits.

I think all the ones mentioned already are very worthy of the good dlc title I particularly enjoyed old world blues for F:NV
To add one to the pot I'd give a mention to the car packs for Forza 4 they have a wide variety of cars in each and you know exactly what you are getting in content terms ( 10 cars )

All of Borderlands DLC were amazing, Mad Moxxi was alright, but the loot was pretty good.
I enjoyed AC2 and Brotherhood's DLC too.

Also, bethesda's dlc is always top notch for me(except horse armour, eugh) as they offer varying different gaming styles and interesting plots each time; I especially enjoyed Point Lookout, due to the freedom it offered.
You know, this thread is seriously making me consider getting Old World Blues for New Vegas.
I hated Dead Money so much, I never really gave the other DLC a chance. I couldn't even finish it. Considering the fact that I'm currently re-addicted to New Vegas, maybe giving the DLC ONE more chance wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'd like to throw in another mention for Dead Money and Old World Blues from Fallout: New Vegas and for Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2.
I know opinion is mixed on Dead Money but I liked the atmosphere, change of pace and the characters. I even managed to not learn the lesson of the DLC by walking out with all the gold =).
I haven't seen many people that dislike Old World Blues, and it had me cracking up the entire time. It was like playing through a so-bad-it's-good 50's B movie.
Lair of the Shadowbroker was a nice way to expand the ME universe and pull in one of the more interesting off-screen characters.

From what I've gathered about the New Vegas DLC, people tend to like either Dead Money or Honest Hearts, everyone loves Old World Blues and with Lonesome Road it varies. If I had to recommend just one of the NV DLCs it would be Old World Blues.Leemaster777 said:
