Wasn't there some sort of electric guitar weapon in Devil May Cry 3 where Dante could fly and summon bats and lightning with that guitar?

However, my vote goes to the sonic screwdriver of Dr. Who. It's capable of doing just about anything that isn't truly useful (well, I guess picking any kind of lock is pretty useful...), so I'd have a grand old time with it. Plus, you can pop champagne bottles with it from a distance- talk about party tricks galore.

Quicksave/quickload. I'd jump off a whole lot more tall things, I tell you.

That, or a real-life version of the Edit tab. Undo/Redo would be a more limited version of the above. Select All and Delete have the potential to be a bit dangerous, in the 'oops, I broke the world' capacity, but what I really want, what I would sell bits of me to the devil for, is Cut/Copy/Paste. The infinite applications of such an ability would practically guarantee I go mad with power, but I have never craved insanity more.

Probably a gadget that allowed me to manipulate time, and that was built into my body so no-one could steal it. First thing I'd do was go back and kill Hitler before he got into power. Would be interesting to see how the present day would be different now. Though it would also come with a reverse button just in case I messed up too bad :)

I'd agree the babe magnet idea would be kind of awkward. Especially if it started working on family members :O

Jokes aside, I'd take a time machine with an undo button. For example, I'd make it so the Mongolians invaded China when the great wall of china started being built and see what happened from with that in the future. Then I'd undo it, and mess around some more.

A self-replicating computer.

Now hear me out; I've got a reason for this. If the computer was programmed correctly, the way I would have it programed, it would have several uses. It would basically run my house, keep me company, and part of it would serve as a powered suit of armor. And it would be awesome.

I would call it "The Millenium Program" or just "Millenium" for short. Yeah...

Apologies for the vaugeness of it; think Iron man meets The Baxter Building.
