At the end of a game in the Halo series, I like to bounce a plasma grenade off a wall and catch it with my face.
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Godmode, put in the cheat for unlimited detonation packs, take godmode off, and you'll be sent flying across the map.
Mercenaries 2 and a nuculear bunker buster set exactly where you are standing and watch it come down to own you in the face.

On any stage with lots of gunman, lure them all into room pull out your mine and drop it into the middle of crowd, by this time you'll die and you have a few seconds to detonate. Watching everyone go flying in different directions in slow motion never gets boring, of course you're invincible during your death sequence but you know... you're dead anyway.

The most classic suicide for me would be running into AT-ST's with my snowspeeder in Shadows of the Empire. I was a kid when I played it, so I didn't know you could...you know..shoot them.
