The Best Mousemat?

So, I'm looking to get a mousemat that's a step-up from a small circular IKEA one I'm currently using. I mainly play Oblivion, as well as some FPS titles I've picked up on sale on Steam, and have a fairly big desk to use at the moment.

What kind of mousemat would you recommend?

Note: I'm currently using a wireless Windows laser mouse, but also looking to upgrade that so feel free to suggest a good mouse/mat combo!

Hmmm anything rectangular will do you fine i imagine, does me just fine. Just thinking about a circular mousemat is strange, that cant of been easy to use surely?

Mine at the moment is an ACTION MAN mousemat with a few of the figurines lined up with the title "Lined up and ready for action" i find performance of mouse is in correlation with awesomeness of mousemat picture.

Im using wireless as well.

It's... interesting to say the least, but the small size of it is the most annoying bit.
Also, Action Man is awesome. Has an Internet Point.
